This book is the result of hundreds of hours of research into the fascinating subject of prophetic chronology. While it is true that prophetic timelines have been the stomping ground of fringe groups and end-time cults, may I suggest that it has defaulted to them due to neglect of the subject? Conservative scholars sometimes forget that history and prophecy are two sides of the same coin and I believe this is why we should take the matter of prophetic chronology more seriously.

By way of assurance to the reader, the difference between this book and some bizarre writings on the subject is that the dates I set out in it are neither based on obscure arguments, nor do they contradict those of reputable historians. More importantly, I do not attempt to project sabbatical and jubilee cycles beyond the Cross in order to justify some end-time idea.
​
Some people may balk at a few of the technicalities, or when asked to use a calculator to check the numbers, but others will find the material intensely interesting. In either case, I hope I can replicate for you the shock and awe I felt when I first discovered the 'Atonement Clock.' Please bear with me. The implication of this research is significant, and those who care to investigate it will not be disappointed.
